About Me

My name is Zoe Kern and these are kernels of my life…

I am a First-Generation American.

I curse too much.

I am not fashionable.

I am not good at doing makeup.

I am a little bit of a germaphobe and love when things are clean and organized.

I need to slow down.

I believe food is the 6th love language.

I have a weakness for dark chocolate, french fries and homemade pizza with homemade ranch.

I rely on working out and staying active to keep my head clear.

I enjoy laughing at myself and have embraced my quirks.

I am fueled by good food, great friends, family and football.

I used to care way too much about what people thought, but now I am authentic to my core and the happiest I have ever been.

The “Kernel of Life” Purpose

Do you find yourself worrying too much about your weaknesses instead of capitalizing on your strengths? Do you over analyze often, let stress and anxiety consume your mind and try to do too much, too fast and then fail? You are not alone.

It took me 29 years of trial and error, small successes, big failures, a lot of crying and even more laughing to get to where I am today. I have finally learned a successful way for me to achieve realistic changes that turn into great life habits and so, my journey has just begun. One example is that, by taking a more mindful approach to eating, I now live a healthy and extremely enjoyable lifestyle, while still being able to indulge. I challenge you to join me on this daily journey.
The journey is continuous and may have some challenges but every kernel of success is celebrated.

Today, I am the most comfortable I’ve ever been in my own skin. I am the healthiest I have ever been. My mind has never been more clear and my confidence in myself and my abilities has never been so strong. This has given me a foundation for what is currently the happiest stage of my life.

No more excuses, no more “I’ll start tomorrow”. Join me on this adventure today. I will share tips and tricks that I have learned along the way in hopes of giving you a boost on your own journey. I will provide challenges and motivation to make realistic changes in your life, bit by bit, kernel by kernel. We’ll continue to grow together.  We are playing the game of life; this is the long game, friends.

Life is too short to be unhappy and nothing about tomorrow is guaranteed. So let’s do better today than we did yesterday. Let’s be better today.
